PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Building Sustainable Agribusinesses

Our 12-month empowerment program provides smallholder farmers with the knowledge, resources, and connections needed to build profitable and sustainable agricultural enterprises. Women farmers receive priority consideration in the selection process.

Who Can Apply

Smallholder farmers, agripreneurs, and cooperatives across Nigeria. Youth (18-35) and women are especially encouraged.

Program Duration

2 weeks intensive program combining training, mentorship, and practical implementation.

Grant Opportunity

Top 3 participants will receive grants ranging from ₦30,000 to ₦500,000 to scale their businesses.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, the program is completely free for selected participants. We cover all training costs, and even provide transportation stipends for in-person sessions when required.

Grant recipients are selected based on: (1) Quality and feasibility of their business proposal, (2) Demonstrated commitment during the training, (3) Potential for impact and scalability, and (4) For women applicants, additional consideration is given to address gender disparities in agriculture.

Yes! We encourage cooperative applications. Groups should designate a primary contact person and can include up to 5 members in their application. Grant amounts for cooperatives may be higher to account for group needs.

Graduates become part of our alumni network with continued access to: (1) Market linkages, (2) Refresher training sessions, (3) Networking opportunities, and (4) Updates on new funding opportunities. Many of our alumni also become mentors for new participants.
